5.5.2009 - New song

We just had one of the first practises in a long while again, and managed to do a new song actually. We're probably gonna play the tune called "In Deceitful Intent" on the next two shows, so come and see what V. Ormanto cooked up this time. And on another note, Ville will also start taking care of the webpages from now on so, hopefully the gigs will be updated in time for a change...

12.12.2008 - New keyboardist in

A. Rauvola decided to concentrate on his school, work and family, so we brought in another H. Sund. Heidi has already played a couple of gigs with us, as a replacement to Antti, so no hassle there, we're ready for future gigs almost immidiately.

No niin, siis jos haluat tuon uuden Dismay demon kotiisi kansien ja tarran kanssa varustettuna, läväytä tilille 571161-20136946 yhden euron verran postikuluihin ja platta napsahtaa viikon sisällä postiluukusta. Tietysti levyä voi myös kysellä suoraan yhtyeen jäseniltä tai noutaa Turun Rokkibaarin tiskin takaa, jolloin edes postikuluista ei tarvitse huolehtia.

18.10.2008 - Done, fuckin' finally

So finally, everythings done. The demo is out today and will be handing it out at the 2x4 show at Rokkibaari. We'll be giving out 600 copies of it, so get one at a future show or order it to your house. Will give further info on that next week. You can check a couple of songs at myspace in a couple of days at www.myspace.com/dismay42.

And also as you can see I renewed the look of the page, to match with the demo-covers. Hope y'all like it.

5.5.2008 - Raw mixes online

Go check our myspace-site to see what'll come. We've put two new songs online for the Tuska-competition that's going on. Raw mixes for the songs A Structure of Flames by mr. Ormanto and Covered in White by Rauski. And do drop a line if you like them. Or don't. There's still some serious fine tuning to do with even those two, but as Rauski took a month long holiday, we won't get shit done unti June. But the man really needed, trust me on this one, so no hurry - no worries.

If you keep your ears open you might also hear the guest vocals we got for some of the tracks. There are the hateformers Pjotor and Jontte grunting out shit and our old friend J. Suominen, nowadays a selfserved-man, doing those angelic background cleans and high pitch hardcore screams. There's three more songs to come, but even the raw mixews aren't done yet, so you'll just have to wait.

Oh, and the cover is done also. I tried to keep it as simple and cheap to make as possible, as we have a little plan of distributing a few hundred copies of this bastard for free. We'll see how that plays out. And as you might have noticed, the name is also set. We'll be calling this ugly son of a bitch "Seclusion". And as a final quote hear someone elses words coming out of our mouths (and we used to be such nice guys...): "Pyydän kaikilta anteeksi, ettei jää teille perkele seliteltävää."

26.3.2008 - Recordings are getting there

Still working hard. The instruments are almost all laid down, just some acoustics, a couple of solos and some fine tuning to the keyboards needs to be done. And then the big one of course, vocals. We're going to start with those during next week, and hope to get them done in a week or two. But as Mikko, who's mixing the thing will be away for the whole May, it's propably going to be in June when will have the finnished product in our hands. I'm making the covers in a couple of weeks, so I hope to get a sample out pretty soon.

6.3.2008 - Next demo well on it's way

So we finally got the big wheel rolling again. The drums were recorded at Pink Noise Studios in Vantaa, haf way through february, after that the guitars we're laid down at our safe house in Nousiainen and during the last week I've pounded in the bass tracks through one of those amazing SansAmp-thingmabos at Rauvola's place. And I can sure you this time it's going to be good. I can't play worth a shit, but Mikko is a fuckin' tempo-nazi, so I just had to keep on trying until he was even remotely satisfied. And some confirmations on the gig too. The third band along with us and Pressure Points will be Burden A&D. So get your ass over there, on friday the 14th. Tickets will be 4 ¬ and that's that.

19.2.2008 - New gig and the recordings have begun

Yes, a gig booked with Pressure Points finally. This time it's Dante's Corner and the date is 14.3. It was supposed to be with Dead Shape Figure, but I'm guessing, they're not coming as they have an european tour with Chimaira coming up at the same time. We also started finally recording our forthcoming demo. The drums were laid down at Pink Noise studios, Vantaa and next weekend we'll start with the guitars. So we're on the way, hopefully it'll be done before the summer.
